Parise.The elder Parise scored 238 goals during a 17-year career that included two stints with the former Minnesota North Stars. He was diagnosed with lung cancer last January and is currently in hospice care.Zach Parise is tied for the Wild lead with 14 goals and is first with 30 points.The Wild supports his decision to be with his family as his dad, J.P., battles lung cancer and asks that their privacy be respected, the team said in a statement before Tuesdays game.
